Your future contribution

In this role, you will drive the "why" of our Checkout experience, owning the end-to-end payment flow from the moment a customer commits to a booking through to successful transaction processing. Your work will directly support our conversion optimization and payment capability expansion across diverse European markets, helping us reduce friction for both B2C and B2B customers in a complex, multi-brand environment. You will act as an entrepreneurial partner, working closely with senior management to steer the product direction while ensuring seamless execution across our group subsidiaries.

How you’ll add value

  • Define and execute a high-impact product roadmap for the Checkout domain, focusing on optimizing conversion and enhancing the user experience across multiple brands.

  • Own the integration and optimization of checkout flows, including the implementation and refinement of local payment methods and wallets to maximize acceptance rates.

  • Launch and monitor KPIs such as acceptance rates and fraud rates, translating complex user data into actionable product insights.

  • Lead the transition of payment processing for group subsidiaries, bringing them under our centralized payment product.

  • Design and execute A/B tests and experimentation frameworks to systematically improve payment conversion and validate product hypotheses.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Finance, and Legal to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements like PSD2 and SCA.

You’ll be successful in this role if you

  • Have 2–4 years of overall professional experience in the Payments domain, with at least 1 year specifically as a Product Manager.

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of payment processing life cycles, card scheme rules, and checkout flow optimization.

  • Exhibit strong analytical capabilities, including basic knowledge of SQL for data querying and a solid grasp of descriptive statistics.

  • Navigate complex multi-currency and multi-country configurations with ease, showing curiosity for the technical and regulatory landscape of EU fintech.

  • Communicate with high energy and an entrepreneurial spirit, showing the ability to influence stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

  • Thrive in a servant leadership culture, prioritizing team success and customer-centricity over ego.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience in a large-scale marketplace environment

  • Background in consulting, specifically within the payments or fintech space.

  • Knowledge of Electronic Money Institution (EMI) licenses and accounting fundamentals.
