HomeToGo is seeking a reliable, diligent, and tech-forward Legal Operations Manager to serve as the operational backbone of our Group Legal team. You will be the primary "go-to person" for all administrative and operational topics, steering and fully owning legal workflows, signing processes, and document archiving.
This role is designed for a structured professional who can remove administrative burdens from the Legal and Compliance teams while proactively implementing AI and legal tech tools to further modernize our function.
How you’ll add value
- Optimize Legal Workflows: Streamline and refine legal processes to improve efficiency within the Legal team.
- Implement Legal Technology: Lead the adoption and implementation of legal tech solutions to drive automation and productivity to the next level.
- Process Ownership & Legal Housekeeping: Fully own operational workflows, signing processes, document archiving, and standard paralegal tasks (improving and maintaining our legal data warehouse)
- Knowledge & Communication Management: Create and maintain accessible legal knowledge bases and foster strategic communication across teams.
- Compliance Support: Managing our e-learning system and supporting our risk and compliance management
- AI Integration: Configure and manage AI tools to support the whole Legal and Compliance team.
- End-to-End Execution: Own projects and administrative initiatives from start to finish with high reliability and diligence.
You’ll be successful in this role if you
- Experience: Previous experience in a legal department or law firm is a plus, particularly if you have worked directly with a General Counsel, Head of Legal or Executive.
- Legal Foundation: Any legal background or practical experience, such as a completed apprenticeship (e.g., ReNo) or internship, is highly valued.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills and a proven ability to execute initiatives end-to-end.
- Tech-Savviness: Experience with Google Workspace, Monday.com, Slack, and AI tools is highly desirable.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in German and English is required to manage workflows and documentation effectively.
- Communication: Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate fast-paced environments.
- Operational Excellence: High attention to detail and nuance, a clean working style, and the ability to prioritize a parallel workload to meet tight deadlines.
