We are a technology company based in Milan, Italy and part of the HomeToGo group. We manage two websites, Agriturismo.it and CaseVacanza.it, the leading booking platform for rural tourism and vacation rentals in Italy.

Your future contribution

CaseVacanza.it is looking for a Business Development Executive to join the B2B Sales Team. As an Executive, you will possess a hunter mentality, while providing exceptional service to your prospects. Your analytical mindset will help you plan a BD strategy to approach and pitch CaseVacanza.it’s unique benefits to rental agencies, aparthotels, and property managers in the Italian vacation rental landscape. You must be able to work autonomously, think strategically and tactically, and take full ownership of achieving your sales goals. You will be a trusted guide and consultant, helping the prospects through an evaluation and purchasing process to buy a solution that generates a big impact for their businesses. You will also know how to maximize the revenue per opportunity with initiatives that increase sales efficiency.

You are passionate about tech, the travel industry and, most importantly, are hungry for results. You should possess a strong desire to grow professionally and are eager to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your experience, combined with your ability to communicate and negotiate effectively, will help our team to expand our inventory in Italy and deliver against company and department goals in one of the most competitive markets.

How you’ll add value
  • Outline the Italian vacation rental landscape to identify and explore new business opportunities

  • Develop a pipeline based on a combination of cold calling, email campaigns, and market sector intelligence. Identify key decision-makers and develop strategic relationships to drive revenue 

  • Manage the entire sales process and ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales

  • Contact every lead to maximize sales opportunities and  follow up in a timely manner to ensure upsell and cross-sell opportunities through the phone

  • Achieve and exceed quotas; timely and accurate revenue forecasting 

You’ll be successful in this role if you
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales (candidates without proven experience and results won't be considered. Previous Saas experience in the tech/travel industry is highly valued)

  • Advanced Excel and CRM experience (Salesforce) is highly preferred.

  • Closer attitude, exceptional communication and presentation skills - must be an engaging negotiator

  • Analytical mind and detail-oriented approach; proactive team player, highly organized with proven ability to consistently meet deadlines

  • Fast learner who can quickly understand new information; adapts behavior and work methods accordingly

  • Recognizes own strengths and weaknesses; pursues self-development and seeks feedback.

  • Fluent in Italian and English.
