Your future contribution

As an Intern in the Performance Marketing team, you will play a key role in taking charge of the marketing management of one of HomeToGo’s markets. You will have full ownership, being the driver for delivering efficient growth of our campaigns and identifying further opportunities to boost HomeToGo’s success. 

The Performance Marketing team’s mission is to engage and inspire trip planners through multi-channel online marketing campaigns. Our approach is both technical and data-driven, optimizing for return on investment and business growth in an ever-changing technological ecosystem. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about Performance Marketing first hand and have a major impact for our SEM and Affiliate marketing activities.

How you’ll add value
  • Your main responsibilities will be to:
    • Shape the marketing strategy for a market by leveraging tons of internal data and applying a broad set of analytical techniques and tools, e.g., Tableau, SQL, Python, R, and Excel.
    • Build, maintain and advance campaigns while improving performance.
  • During the first month, you will: 
    • Get to know our company, our team and our product thoroughly. 
    • Learn about the foundation and tools needed to shine and excel in your role.
  • You will regularly support the Performance Marketing team with ad hoc tasks (e.g. bug tickets, market research, benchmark analysis, etc.)
  • Along the way, you will work closely with our Marketing Engineering team to co-define the evolution of our marketing platforms and tools.
  • After 90 days, you will be able to independently test and try out new initiatives to improve the performance of your market.  
You’ll be successful in this role if you
  • Have a data-informed approach and possess analytical skills with an ability to identify, develop and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  • Are a proactive, curious person with strong communication skills. 
  • Have excellent Excel skills. Knowledge of SQL, Python or R is a significant plus.
  • Are fluent in English. German, Danish, Norwegian or Swedish knowledge is a plus.
