Your future contribution

As a Product Manager, Localization, you will help unleash synergies across the HomeToGo Group. You will expand our Small Partner Solutions product across markets and onboard our local subsidiaries into a central platform. You will significantly contribute to driving innovation of our group technology and optimizing time-to-market across geographies. You will be empowered to manage a strong development team and, together with the Head of Product, define the product strategy for different local markets and subsidiaries. Remote and Hybrid models possible.

How you’ll add value

  • Expand our product in new markets and onboard users of a local leading subsidiaries onto our technology platform
  • Analyze the local user base, how they do their job today and what are the local customs and legal limitations. Understand how this maps to our technology
  • Collaborate with the local Product and Operations teams to best support local specifics with the global technology
  • Manage a development team and ensure the timely delivery of localized features and data migrations
  • Together with the Head of Product and our SPS Engineering you will identify upgrades to our hosting platform and drive the solutions
  • Manage external and internal stakeholders’ communication and drive cross-team alignment to ensure the success of the end-to-end migration
  • Make critical feature prioritisation decision and plan product requirements for future migrations.
  • Contribute to defining the localization strategy for the hosting platform. Care for the local brands post-launch with consultation, support and product improvements.
  • Work closely with UX design and research to craft the best experience for our local users, always keeping in alignment with our global vision
You’ll be successful in this role if you

  • Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in product management, ideally hands-on delivery of digital products and managing agile teams

  • Have previous experience in engineering, data analysis or business analysis. Extra points for entrepreneurial experience.

  • Have a natural talent to simplify complex problems and bring structure to chaos.

  • Have outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, ideally with experience from international B2B environments.

  • Are pragmatic, structured with a positive can-do-attitude

  • Have ideally demonstrated leadership experience, including an ability to lead and motivate engineering teams

  • Are capable of thinking end-to-end and understand how different systems interact. These are no green-field opportunities and significant business and product legacy has to be understood.

  • Have technical proficiency - you understand the software development processes and can clearly outline logic and processes 

  • Have a high level of understanding for data structures

  • Are willing to take on responsibilities that go beyond the scope of your job description

  • Fluent English. Fluency in German is a plus. French, Italian and Spanish is a nice extra.
