About Smoobu

Smoobu (www.smoobu.com) is a fast-growing startup company operating in the vacation home rental business and a 100% company of Hometogo. Our approach is to make the rental business more profitable and efficient for our users. Currently, our software helps hosts to manage over 70,000 properties in more than 135 countries. Your future contribution

Bring your business development expertise to deliver first-class support for our customers around the world. As our product grows, we will create a user experience superior to the tourism industry standard. With our modern technology supporting homeowners, we are looking for you to be the human connection to our product and deliver effective solutions that satisfy our clients around the world. You, as part of our Sales & Service team, will interact with new and existing customers to ensure they have the best possible experience using Smoobu. Your goal is to convert users in Free Trial (inbound leads) to engage with the software and help them in their buying decision. Similarly, you will assist existing (paying) users with using the product to the best extent possible to maximize their value and profit from it. 

All in all, it’s about people and with your help and passion for outstanding service, we will build a state-of-the-art business development department at Smoobu!
How you’ll add value
  • Optimize our day-to-day work by assessing and understanding the needs of customers and recommending new processes, products, or services in line with customer expectations.

  • Provide customers with outstanding service and educate them about the optimal use of Smoobu across multiple platforms including phone and email

  • Resolve customers’ issues in a timely and effective manner

  • Contribute to our knowledge base and help center by creating email templates and articles for future use

You’ll be successful in this role if you
  • German is your native language and you are also fluent in English

  • Already have experience in a customer-facing position and enjoy interacting with people

  • Are comfortable helping customers navigate our product

  • Are a natural people-person with outstanding communication skills

  • Come with flexibility, honesty and attention-to-detail

  • Have a talent to master the art of consultative selling

Nutze deine Erfahrung im Vertrieb und/oder Kundenservice, um erstklassige Unterstützung für unsere Kunden zu erbringen oder starte als Quereinsteiger in unserem Team durch! 
Während unser Produkt sich weiterentwickelt, entwickeln wir eine Nutzererfahrung, die weit über dem Industriestandard liegt. Du bringst eine menschliche Komponente in unser Produkt und löst durch deinen beratenden Ansatz die Herausforderungen unserer Kunden. Als Teil des Sales & Service Teams unterstützt du Testnutzer (Inbound Leads) bei der ersten Benutzung unserer Software, um sie bei der Kaufentscheidung zu beraten. Ebenso berätst du Bestandskunden bei der Optimierung des Einsatzes der Software. Persönlicher Kontakt zu unseren Kunden ist uns sehr wichtig. Mit deiner Leidenschaft für außerordentlichen Service machen wir unser überragendes Business Development Team noch besser!
How you’ll add value
  • Du gestaltest deine tägliche Arbeit anhand der Bedürfnisse unserer Kunden, berätst sie nach bestem Wissen zu neuen Prozesse, Produkten oder Angeboten
  • Du leistet herausragenden Service über verschiedenste Kanäle (zB. Telefon und Email) und hilfst unseren Kunden ihre individuelle, optimale Verwendung von Smoobu zu finden
  • Du löst Kundenprobleme gezielt und schnell und stellst somit ein optimales “Verkaufserlebnis” bei unseren Testnutzern sicher
  • Du trägst mit deiner Erfahrung zur Erweiterung unserer internen und externen “Knowledge Base” bei auf der wir sowohl Schulungsunterlagen für Kunden, als auch für unser eigenes Team sammeln

  • Deutsch ist deine Muttersprache und du sprichst Englisch fließend
  • Du hast Spaß mit Leuten zu interagieren und bevorzugt bereits Erfahrung in einer Rolle mit Kundenkontakt sammeln können
