As a Senior Operations Engineer & Team Lead, you’ll be a part of a passionate and innovative team. As a team, we’re building infrastructure to serve class-leading products for millions of customers per day. You will join a dynamic and ambitious tech organization combining Extreme programming, DevOps, test-driven and trunk-based development principles to maximize business value. Our engineering teams are capable of doing many releases to production per day and the operations engineering team is one of the key prerequisites to enable such high work velocity in a stable and secure way.  You will lead our operations engineering team, contribute to setting team goals, plan the team’s work, coach and mentor your colleagues. 

• Working hand-in-hand with stakeholders to refine requirements, dividing work into clear milestones, identifying blockers
• Researching, implementing and developing new technologies in our infrastructure
• Ensuring our security is on the top level
• Analyzing monitoring data to find inefficiencies and bottlenecks
• Continuously improving the speed, efficiency and scalability of our infrastructure
• Solving problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context
• Communicating and aligning within and across teams
• Leading a team of engineers and mentoring other team members

• Have proven experience as a team leader
• Have proven experience in Systems Administration and Network Infrastructure
• Have excellent knowledge of Linux/Unix and key services which make the web work (Nginx, Elasticsearch, MariaDB, Redis, etc.)
• Have excellent understanding of networking concepts (HTTP, TLS, load balancing/failover and other TCP/IP concepts)
• Have excellent knowledge of monitoring and alerting systems
• Have experience working with automation tools (Puppet, Ansible, etc..)
• Are experienced with large-scale infrastructure
• Have strong understanding of IT security concepts
• Have scripting skills (Ruby, Python, etc.)
• Have exceptional communication and leadership skills
• Have proficiency in English at the business level
